If you wish to follow this itinerary of Gokyo EBC Trek you cover entire highlights of Everest region. However you need few days more than two weeks. 16 days would best choice but if you prefers sight trip it’s better to have 18 days too as it is once in life time trip. It’s best because it twist to the another classic EBC trek route. The chance to explore Everest region covering Kalapatthar, Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri via Chola Pass is not joke in one trip. Enjoy the sleeping lakes on the lap of Himalayas in Gokyo Ri and view the closest view of Mt Everest Kalapatthar at a same time. The glaciers of Everest region itself are beautifully designed. The main supper enjoyable part of this itinerary is you surely get close to all peaks which are above eight thousands meters in Everest region. The weather doesn’t stay constable so if you independent hikers we don’t recommend you to do this trip.  Trekkers just go Everest Base Camp just to get there ( I mean not that’s it’s not beautiful) but base camp itself don’t offer Everest view as you must climb Kalapatthar to see closest view of world tallest peak. The view of Amadablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Pumori and Kangtega are supper from Kalapatthar. Fifth Lake close by Cho Yu peak is not place not miss if you have spare days.
