Located in Everest region the Mera peak climbing presents stunning vistas of the Everest Himalayan range, the highest trekking peak in Everest region Mera (6.461meter) is less technical to climb; midst of superb landscape offers striking beauties.

Located in remote isolated area of Khumbu Nepal’s one of the biggest trekking peak route starts drom the village of Lukla which is the gate way to Everest Base camp trek. The routes onwards adjoining high Himalayan hills of Naulekh. We leave the last village behind and heading east to reach top of the ridge it takes steep 3 hours climb. To reach Hidden valley Hinku it’s steep down and once we reach the bottom it starts pleasant walk via Rhododendron and pine forests with grazing pastures and meadows. Here we reach High camp on the elevation of 5800 meters at the foot of the Mera Peak.  Mera peak expedition from high cam is technically straight forward on a long glacier.

On we summit, you will feel immense proud with the surrounding beauties, and panorama of the snow covered Himalayas including over 8000 meters mountains like Everest, Kanchenjunga, Mt Makalu and Cho-Oyu. Once the great challenging trekking peak expedition ended, we walk back to Lukla for the sweeping flight to Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1300m) picks up and transfers to hotel 

Day 02: Explore Kathmandu’s world heritage sites, temples and trip preparations 

Day 03: Morning flight to Lukla (2829m) and trek to Paita (2730m) 40 minutes flight and 6 hrs walk 

Day 04: Trek Paiya to Panggom (2846m/9337ft) 6 hours wlak 

Day 05:  Trek from Panggom to Ningsow (2,863m/9,393ft) 7 hours walk 

Day 06: Trek from Ningsow to Chhatra Khola (2,800m/9,186ft) 7 hours walk 

Day 07: Chhatra Khola to Kothe trek (3,691m/12,109ft) 6 hours walk 

Day 08: Kothe to Thaknak trek (4,358m/14,297ft) 4 hours walk 

Day 09: Trek Thaknak toKhare Village (5,045m/16,486ft) 3 hours walk 

Day 10: Exploration, acclimatization and climb training day 

Day 11: trek Khare to Mera Peak High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft) 6 hours walk 

Day 12: Mera High Camp to top (6,460m/21,190ft) and Back to Khare – 8 to 9 hours 

Day 13: Trek back to Khare to Kothe (3600m/11808ft) 4 hours 

Day 14: Kothe to Thuli Kharka trek (4, 300m/14,107ft) 5 hours walk 

Day 15: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Lukla via Zatrwa La Pass – 6 hours walk 

Day 16: Morning fly back to Kathmandu and shopping 

Day 07: final departure toward your own destinations.
